Kim graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1996. Kim is originally from the interior of British Columbia. She grew up in Armstrong and earned an undergraduate degree in agriculture at UBC in Vancouver before moving to Saskatchewan. After vet school, Kim started working for Jim Sawatsky at Animal Management Services. In 2009, she purchased the practice from Dr. Sawatsky and changed the name to the Animal Health Clinic of Humboldt. Kim truly enjoys mixed animal practice; working with all species and their owners makes life interesting. Kim is married and has two children and has a new dog named Kona.
