Nancy grew up on her family’s dairy farm in southern Manitoba. She acquired a degree in Medical Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba and worked at a hospital in Winnipeg for several years. However, her love of the farm and interest in the health and wellbeing of the cattle herd led her back to school, and she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She began her veterinary career in a mixed animal practice in Ponoka, AB and later in Morden, MB. Nancy joined the team at the Animal Health Clinic in 2010, where she currently works part time and enjoys both the large and small animal aspects of the practice. Nancy lives on an acreage with her husband and five children where, outside of work, she is busy with her kids’ school activities, sports teams and youth programs at their church.
